This week of theoretical and practical events investigates the quest for abstraction in the practice of calligraphy and painting with a specific angle on Chinese writing, offering the opportunity of direct contacts between the public and invited artists and scholars. This travelling event functions as a collaborative enterprise between ink artists, curators and academic or cultural institutions in the host country.

CIVA TALKS — table ronde : Towards Future Designed Landscapes – 21/03

Table ronde dans le cadre de l’exposition Designed Landscapes — Comment les architectes paysagistes conçoivent-ils les futurs paysages bruxellois ? A quels enjeux doivent-ils répondre ? 9 architectes paysagistes de talent se rencontrent et se prêtent au jeu du débat. Ils nous présentent, au travers de leurs travaux, l’exposition Designed landscapes, comme un miroir pour penser les futurs paysages bruxellois. Cet événement rare à Bruxelles sera modéré par Serge Kempeneers, directeur de la Division Espaces Verts (Bruxelles Environnement) et Thierry Kandjee (Chaire paysage de la Faculté d’architecture La Cambre Horta, ULB).
