» In the morning of 17 october 2019 at ULB in Brussels, BEES organises a projection/debate on the theme of citizen engagement and science : What is the position of science in relation to activism/commitment and vice versa?. The documentary shown is called « The Battle of Black Water » : In 1978, the Minister of Public Works is planning a huge dam in the Black Water Valley, upstream of the small town of Couvin. But the inhabitants turned against the project and delivered a flamboyant guerrilla war… A choral film that communicates the joy and strength of a popular movement that is exemplary in every respect.
